Great vegan menu. The vegan chilaquiles were to die for. I suggest adding avocado which amps up the flavor and creaminess. They also have homemade vegan granola - took a bag of that home. So good! The service was fantastic. Cute restaurant on the bayside of mission beach. Hoppin breakfast place but did not have a long wait at 10am. A must visit for omnis, vegetarians and vegans when in SoCal

I love The Mission. The cinnamon French toast is divine. The service was very slow, which is why I'm giving four stars rather than five. I also found the drink prices - I had a cafe au lait- to be high compared to comparable spots.

*Friendly staff - Nicki G. was our waitress & she was great! *Delicious American breakfast - we had their classic buttermilk pancake, mission rosemary & ABC omelette, latte, OJ & chocolate milk. Forgot to take pics but the pics on their website are accurate. *Kid friendly - They don't have a kids menu, however you are able to order a single pancake (size of a plate). There's also a 2x2x2 (pancake, bacon & eggs) for $9 *Great price point *Clean

Old time favorite located in the heart of Mission Beach. They've got another location in East Village as well that usually doesn't get as busy. Both locations are somewhat on the smaller side, so if you're going with a group on the weekend or during summer I'd highly recommend getting there early. The menu boasts a number of amazing items, so you can't really go wrong. Only thing I wish they did was bottomless mimosas, but until that day comes I'll settle for purchasing a bottle of bubbles.
